HAVE YOU TRIED THESE?? 🤯

1️⃣ I quit depriving myself of calories, food groups and treats I loved. I quit trying to smash a days’ worth of nutrition (aka energy) into that “900-1200 calorie” box. I quit measuring everything and started LISTENING. In the beginning, I kept careful track of the foods I was eating and HOW THEY MADE ME FEEL. I started connecting the dots between food and after-effects instead of focusing on the instant gratification. I learned what foods supported my goals (and also tasted good!). I still indulged in sweets and cheesy crunchy stuff I loved, but paid closer attention to how and when I was eating these things.
By keeping track, I don’t mean I counted calories. In the more than 2 years I’ve been on this journey I have not counted a single calorie or weighed a single food. I don’t count macros, and I don’t deprive myself of the things I love. The truth is, for MOST people with MOST goals, you don’t need meticulous measurements, you need SELF AWARENESS. You need to learn what foods support your goals, and fill your meal plan with those 80% of the time.
Bring to mind a time where you were super strict with your diet. Did you enjoy it? I’m sure you probably got some results if you followed that plan for a certain length of time. Did those results last? Did you enjoy food and your life during that time?
As someone who has tried all the fads, all the juices, all the cleanses and fast fixes.. I can tell you that cutting food groups completely out, depriving yourself of fun stuff and things you love, and being a slave to the scale and numbers is not sustainable, nor a fun way to live. MOST PEOPLE DON’T NEED TO LIVE BY THE NUMBERS.
I help you develop a POSITIVE healthy relationship with food. I teach you different ways to utilize the numbers and portions (if you want) in a way that helps you view them as TOOLS, not things that determine your self worth.
I help women (including myself) break the mindset that we are defined by the scale and the number that glows back up at us. I help women (including myself) break the mindset that food and alcohol can/should fill emotional gaps and save us, even if just for the moment. I help you take back control of your mindset and your nutrition, and therefore your life.

2️⃣ I quit piecing together workouts from bloggers and magazines and went to one source. I started working with trainers virtually who told me exactly what to do and how to do it safely. I started with 20 minutes a day because that’s all I had time or energy for. I had a baby that didn’t nap well and new mama exhaustion + hormones. But I KNEW I NEEDED THIS. to this day, I don’t workout longer than 45 minutes. I just don’t have the attention span or time and that’s okay. Quick + effective is where it’s at 🙌🏻 I am stronger, healthier and have more energy than when I wandered the gym then did the elliptical and some weight machines for 1-2 hours 5-7x a week.
As a woman who deals with PCOS, long intense cardio workouts do not always work well for me + my goals (or my overall happiness 😂). Super intense, long workouts do not excite me. I am typically not a cardio fan. I prefer my cardio in small bursts (if at all 😂) but I do know the value in getting your heart pumping and oxygen flowing through your lungs and body. It’s also great for getting the endorphins pumping. For a variety of women, as our age and hormones change, the things and types of exercise that always worked for us suddenly don’t. It leaves us feeling lost, hopeless, and giving up. Chalking it up to “well I’ll always be this way.. always have this belly.. always be tired…” IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY! We just have to figure out what works for you NOW. Sometimes women lose a significant amount of weight then get stuck on a plateau. What worked to get them THERE doesn’t always work to get them further, so we switch it up a bit. I meet you where you are. We talk through all the challenges, successes, likes and dislikes, and come up with a plan TOGETHER.
You don’t have to spend hours upon hours in a gym killing yourself with cardio to get results. There IS a better way. I’m here to show you that way.

3️⃣ I TRUSTED the PROCESS. Yes. It’s a process. No it won’t happen overnight. Quick fixes don’t fix anything and I was tired of spending $$$ on stuff I knew wasn’t going to last. It’s not easy, but it is simple. I stuck with it even though I didn’t see massive weight loss right away. I stuck with it when I didn’t immediately fit back into my pre-baby pants. The biggest jump in my weight loss actually happened 6 months in 🤯 (6 months of CONSISTENT nutrition focus + body movement).
I thought I didn’t need to follow the nutrition plan if I just worked out enough. Wrong. I thought I didn’t need a group to help support me. Wrong. I did both for awhile and got some results, but nowhere NEAR the results I got when I finally committed 100%, when I joined the community of women just like me, doing something scary and different in hopes of THIS being the one time it stuck, the time it actually worked. And you know what? IT WORKS.
SOOOO basically I tried 3 things I had never done before and I got results I had never gotten before! 🤯🤯🤯
Different is uncomfortable. Different isn’t usually easy. Different will usually take effort on your part. But are you interested in getting different results than you’ve always gotten? Is it worth TRYING something different?
